People
Observing people is a constant source of fascination. I’m drawn less to the conventionally striking and more to ordinary individuals absorbed in their own moments—walking with purpose, reading quietly, or gazing into the sky. I sketch these fragments of contemporary life and later recompose them in the studio, painting a reflection of ourselves moving within the same moment in time.
